Ingredients
  1. 1 lb hamburger
  2. 1-2 cups dry bread crumbs
  3. 1/4 tsp salt
  4. 1 cup rice vinegar
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1 cup pineapple or orange juice
  7. 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  8. 1 cup brown sugar
  9. 1 tsp garlic powder
  10. cornstarch
  11. 1/8 tsp pepper
Instructions
  1. Mix together hamburger, salt, egg, nutmeg, garlic powder, pepper and bread crumbs. (Add bread crumbs slowly until mixture is a lightly-firm consistency to roll meatballs. Amount varies.) Roll meatballs to desired size. Preheat Electric skillet on 450F. Place meatballs in skillet and put lid on. With a thin spatula, loosen meat off the pan and roll to brown all sides.
  2. In a saucepan, on medium heat, mix vinegar, juice and brown sugar. Mix occasionally as it heats up and when the valve clicks, remove lid and slowly add a mixture of cornstarch and water to thicken.
  3. Pour sauce over meatballs, put lid on skillet and when it clicks, turn down to 180F until you are ready to serve.
